We created this site as a way of sharing our top insights gained from decades of working in the mentoring space. Each blog thread includes selected strategies and common pitfalls that we hope will help others as they engage as mentors and mentees. We are MetaView Mentors, and our success in building mentoring programs is rooted in our complementary backgrounds in computer science and organizational psychology as well as a shared commitment to education. Our collaboration includes the development of a peer mentoring program for computer science students, one of a handful of projects chosen to be funded by a Google Capacity Award, and a subsequent partnership with Microsoft to launch their college mentoring program. We focus on the tech space, but the lessons port to any domain.
